National Handwriting Day

Jan 21, 07:56 AM

FYI: “January 23, 2010 is National Handwriting Day, which also coincides with John Hancock’s birthday. Sponsored by the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association, the holiday celebrates his famous signature on the Declaration of Independence, representative of the power of the handwritten word. You are encouraged to bring back the beauty and significance of handwritten letters and hand-drawn creations.” (We did not make this up.) But we did want to remind you of our Paper Garden – greeting cards, boxed stationery, journals, pens, and Valentine cards. Our standard special: buy four greeting cards, get one free. We encourage the written word.

Reminder: Coupon Sale continues through January 30. Find your coupon attached to the Mardi Gras beads. You got it in November. It represents 20% off – even off sale merchandise.

Sale: Two of the patterns that we carry in the melamine dishes have been discontinued – Provence Rooster and Sud (Olives). Our remaining stock in these two patterns is on sale at 50% off.

Thanks again for your support. See you soon.
